Note: recipe changed per last making but not trialed. ==Ingredients== * 160g 550 bread flour * 115g unsalted butter, softened * 25g granulated sugar * 130g dark brown sugar * 4g salt * 1 package vanilla extract * 1 medium egg (large in US) * 1 medium egg yolk (large in US) * 120g semi-sweet chocolate chips ==Instructions== # Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl # In a large bowl, stir butter, sugars, and vanilla until smooth. # Add egg and stir to combine. # Gradually add flour as mixing # Stir in chocolate chips # Refrigerate dough for 2+ hours # Preheat convection oven to 180C (190C for conventional oven) # Lightly grease a sheet pan # Use a teaspoon to drop batter on the sheet # Bake for 10 minutes # Cool for 3 minutes on sheet, then transfer to wire rack for to fully cool for 20 minutes
