Ingredients[edit]
- 0.5 lbs cheddar cheese, grated
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1 stick of unsalted butter
- 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions[edit]
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Butter two baking sheets.
- Melt butter in a large bowl in a microwave until it's mixable.
- Add the other ingredients to the butter and stir.
- Mix by hand until the batter becomes less crumbly.
- Squeeze the dough into a few different 'potatoes'. Wrap these up in plastic wrap, and chill in the fridge for 30 mins.
- Remove the 'potatoes' from the fridge. Cut them up into french fry shapes and place on the baking sheets.
- Bake until golden brown, about 14 minutes.
