Ingredients[edit]

  • A 9 inch pie crust
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1.25 cups chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cups milk
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions[edit]

  1. Bake weighted pie crust at 350F for 10 minutes
  2. Saute shallot, garlic, and broccoli over 2 tbsp butter until soft - about 10 minutes
  3. Put vegetables in pie crust and top with cheese
  4. Whisk together eggs, milk, mustard, salt, pepper, and melted butter.
  5. Pour egg mixture into crust
  6. Make at 350F for 40 minutes
