Ingredients[edit]
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions[edit]
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Lightly grease an 8x8" pan.
- In a large bowl, stir butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla. Stir to combine.
- Add flour and salt. Stir just until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips, reserving a couple tablespoons to sprinkle on top.
- Spread batter into the pan.
- Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25-28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. The blondies will be slightly browned along the edges.
- Let cool for 20 minutes.
