Ingredients
- 160g all-purpose flour
- 115g unsalted butter, softened
- 25g granulated sugar
- 130g dark brown sugar
- 4g salt
- 1 package vanilla extract
- 1 medium egg (large in US)
- 1 medium egg yolk (large in US)
- 120g semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl
- In a large bowl, stir butter, sugars, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add egg and stir to combine.
- Gradually add flour as mixing
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Refrigerate dough for 2+ hours
- Preheat convection oven to 180C (190C for conventional oven)
- Lightly grease a sheet pan
- Use a teaspoon to drop batter on the sheet
- Bake for 10 minutes
- Cool for 3 minutes on sheet, then transfer to wire rack for to fully cool for 20 minutes
