Ingredients[edit]
- 0.75 cups melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 0.25 cups molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoons salt
- 0.25 to 0.75 teaspoons cloves
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- a bit less than 0.5 teaspoons ginger
- a bit more than 0.25 teaspoons nutmeg
Instructions[edit]
- Cream together butter, sugar, molasses, egg.
- Mix dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
- Cool in refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Roll by teaspoons into small balls. Roll each ball in granulated sugar, then place 2 inches apart on a greased pan.
- Bake 7 minutes at 350 F or until cookie flattens.
