Ingredients[edit]

  • 0.5 lbs cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions[edit]

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Butter two baking sheets.
  3. Melt butter in a large bowl in a microwave until it's mixable.
  4. Add the other ingredients to the butter and stir.
  5. Mix by hand until the batter becomes less crumbly.
  6. Squeeze the dough into a few different 'potatoes'. Wrap these up in plastic wrap, and chill in the fridge for 30 mins.
  7. Remove the 'potatoes' from the fridge. Cut them up into french fry shapes and place on the baking sheets.
  8. Bake until golden brown, about 14 minutes.
