Halibut[edit]
Ingredients[edit]
- 1 full Halibut steak - about 1.125 lbs total.
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions[edit]
- Preheat oven to 425
- Sprinkle Halibut generously with salt and pepper
- Heat oil on an oven-proof pan on the stove until it smokes
- Sear the steak on one side without moving for 4 minutes
- Flip the steak and immediately put the pan in the oven
- Wait 9 minutes and remove
Chipotle-Garlic Butter with Lime and Cilantro[edit]
Ingredients[edit]
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- half of a medium chipotle chile in adobo sauce
- 0.5 tsp adobo sauce
- 1 small garlic glove, minced
- 0.5 tsp honey
- 0.5 tsp zest of half a lime
- 1 tsp cilantro leaves
- 0.25 tsp salt
Instructions[edit]
- Just mix it all together with a fork
- Put it on the fish
