Yield

5 Gallons

Ingredients

  • 5 gal Water
  • 4.86lbs Pilsen DME
  • 11.75 AAU Saaz
  • Saflager W34/70 yeast packet
  • 6.57 oz Priming Sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine water and DME
  2. t+00:00 Start boiling, add Saaz hops
  3. t+60:00 Done. Chill in ice bath to 55F.
  4. Add clean water to 1.045 SG.
  5. Aerate and pitch yeast
  6. Ferment @ 55F until sable 1.008 FG
  7. Diacetyl rest at 60F for 2 days
  8. Add boiled priming sugar, bottle.
  9. Bottle condition 72F for 2 days
  10. Lager in bottles at 38F for 4-6 weeks
