Ingredients

  • 155g all-purpose flour
  • 114g unsalted butter, softened
  • 75g granulated sugar
  • 82g dark brown sugar
  • 3g baking soda
  • 2g salt
  • 1 package vanilla extract
  • 1 medium eggs (large in US)
  • 170g semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl
  2. In a large bowl, stir butter, sugars, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add egg and stir to combine.
  4. Gradually add flour as mixing
  5. Stir in chocolate chips
  6. Refrigerate dough for 2+ hours
  7. Preheat convection oven to 165C (175C for conventional oven)
  8. Lightly grease a sheet pan
  9. Use a teaspoon to drop batter on the sheet
  10. Bake for 12 minutes
  11. Cool for 3 minutes on sheet, then transfer to wire rack for to fully cool for 20 minutes
