Crispy Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients[edit]
- 1 lb brussels sprouts
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 tsp honey or sugar
- 1/8 cup olive oil
Instructions[edit]
- Place a sheet pan in the oven and set the oven on broil.
- Trim and half or quarter the brussels sprouts.
- In a bowl, combine the sprouts with salt, pepper, and sugar or honey.
- Mix in the olive oil.
- Transfer the sprouts to a piece of aluminum foil or parchment paper that will fit on the sheet pan.
- Take the hot sheet pan out of the oven. Carefully put the sheet onto the sheet pan, then return it to the oven.
- Broil for 6 minutes, then stir and rotate the pan.
- Broil for another 6 minutes or until sprouts are crispy but not burned.
