Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients[edit]
- Unbaked 9 inch pie shell
- 3 large eggs
- 0.5 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 0.5 teaspoons salt
- 0.5 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1.5 teaspoons cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoons cloves or allspice
- 1 can pumpkin or 2 cups cooked fresh pumpkin
- 1 cup milk or evaporated milk
Instructions[edit]
- Preheat oven to 450 F.
- Beat eggs with sugar, molasses, salt, and spices.
- Add pumpkin and milk and mix well.
- Pour into pie crust and cook for 10 minutes.
- Lower temperature to 400 F and cook for 30 minutes longer or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
