Yield[edit]
Makes 4
Ingredients[edit]
- 2 lbs ground turkey breast
- 4 scallions, finely chopped
- .375 cups chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp grill seasoning
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 apple, cut into 12 slices
- 8 slices extra-sharp cheddar
- .25 cups cranberry sauce
- 2 tbsp grainy mustard
- 4 English muffins, split and toasted
- 8 leaves lettuce
Instructions[edit]
- In a bowl, combine turkey, scallions, parsley, grill seasoning, and poultry seasoning.
- Form into 4 patties, pressing your thumb into the center of each patty's center to prevent bulging.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the patties and cook each side for 6 minutes.
- Top each with 3 apple slices and 2 cheese slices, tent the pan with foil, and cook until the cheese melts - about 1-2 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce and mustard.
- Slather the mixture on the muffin tops, pile lettuce on each bottom, and top with the patties.
