Yield[edit]

Makes 4

Ingredients[edit]

  • 2 lbs ground turkey breast
  • 4 scallions, finely chopped
  • .375 cups chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp grill seasoning
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 apple, cut into 12 slices
  • 8 slices extra-sharp cheddar
  • .25 cups cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp grainy mustard
  • 4 English muffins, split and toasted
  • 8 leaves lettuce

Instructions[edit]

  1. In a bowl, combine turkey, scallions, parsley, grill seasoning, and poultry seasoning.
  2. Form into 4 patties, pressing your thumb into the center of each patty's center to prevent bulging.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the patties and cook each side for 6 minutes.
  5. Top each with 3 apple slices and 2 cheese slices, tent the pan with foil, and cook until the cheese melts - about 1-2 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce and mustard.
  7. Slather the mixture on the muffin tops, pile lettuce on each bottom, and top with the patties.
