*4 ripe tomatoes, cut into ~3/4 in pieces
*24 oz of tomatoes of choice
*1/2 cup olive oil
*3 tbsp olive oil
*2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

*2 cloves garlic, minced
*salt and pepper
*1 tsp of chopped fresh basil or 1/2 tsp of dried basil

*Freshly ground black pepper to taste

#Mix the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl
#Slice the tomatoes. If using cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in half. If using larger tomatoes, core them to remove the seeds, and then cut into chunks of your desired size.
#Add the tomatoes and chopped basil to the bowl and mix
#Place the chopped tomatoes into a large bowl.
#Cover and refrigerate for a couple hours before serving
#Add the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and basil.
#Toss well.
#Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions[edit]
