Tomato Salad

Ingredients[edit]

  • 24 oz of tomatoes of choice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp of chopped fresh basil or 1/2 tsp of dried basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions[edit]

  1. Slice the tomatoes. If using cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in half. If using larger tomatoes, core them to remove the seeds, and then cut into chunks of your desired size.
  2. Place the chopped tomatoes into a large bowl.
  3. Add the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and basil.
  4. Toss well.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
