Ingredients[edit]

  • 1 small shallot (0.25 cups), minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 2 lbs clams
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 0.25 cups parsley
  • Baguette croutons

Directions[edit]

  1. Bring the wine, shallot, garlic, and bay leaf to a simmer on medium
  2. Simmer for 3 minutes
  3. Add clams, increase heat to medium-high, add lid
  4. Cook 4 minutes
  5. Stir and cook 4 more minutes
  6. Use a slotted spoon to transfer clams to a serving bowl
  7. Add butter and parsley to the broth, stir to make a sauce
  8. Pour sauce over clams
  9. Serve with croutons
