Candied pecans

Makes enough for 6 beet salads
Ingredients[edit]
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 tbsp butter
- 0.25 cups light brown sugar
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 0.125 cups water
Instructions[edit]
- Preheat oven to 350F. Line baking sheet with parchment.
- Stir pecans over medium in butter for 3 minutes.
- Add sugar and stir for 2 minutes.
- Add salt and water. Cook until evaporated.
- Add vanilla and stir to coat.
- Spread onto parchment and cook for 6 minutes.
