Makes enough for 6 beet salads

Ingredients[edit]

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 0.25 cups light brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.125 cups water

Instructions[edit]

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Stir pecans over medium in butter for 3 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and stir for 2 minutes.
  4. Add salt and water. Cook until evaporated.
  5. Add vanilla and stir to coat.
  6. Spread onto parchment and cook for 6 minutes.
