Pesto Cream Sauce

Ingredients[edit]

  • 1 cup Coarsely chopped fresh basil
  • 0.25 cups Freshly grated parmesan
  • 2 tb Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 0.25 cups Pine nuts, roasted
  • 0.33 cups Heavy cream

Instructions[edit]

  1. In a food processor, blend basil, cheese, garlic and pine nuts until coarsely mixed.
  2. Add olive oil and process for 15 seconds more.
  3. Transfer contents to a small sauce pan and stir in cream.
  4. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
